Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lead Blueprint ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

2. Description of Service

Lead Blueprint is a platform that connects clients seeking contractors with verified trade professionals. We facilitate introductions, messaging, and job postings. We are not a party to any agreements between clients and contractors and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of work performed.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Contractor Listings

Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, credentials, and any representations made on the Platform. A contractor is listed in the directory only after Lead Blueprint has verified at least one of their credentials (such as a licence, WCB clearance, insurance certificate or Red Seal) against the document provided or a public registry. Contractors awaiting verification may still respond to jobs, and their responses are labelled "Verification pending". Verification is a check made at a point in time, not a guarantee: credentials can lapse or change, and we do not verify every credential on every profile. Clients should conduct their own due diligence before hiring.

When you add a license, insurance, WCB, Red Seal, or other credential to your profile, you will be asked to explicitly consent to its public display. By giving that consent, you confirm the information is accurate and authorize Lead Blueprint to display the credential type, number, and verification status on your public profile, so that clients can verify your qualifications before hiring. You may withdraw a credential from public display at any time by deleting it from your profile.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Contractor subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account settings — there are no annual contracts or cancellation fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. New subscribers are eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you do not receive a lead within your first 30 days, contact us for a full refund. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Clients receive 3 free job posts per month. Additional posts are $9.99 each.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; harass, abuse, or threaten other users; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent Platform security; scrape or collect data from the Platform without permission; or post spam, inappropriate content, or unsolicited advertising.

7. Content and Reviews

Users retain ownership of content they post. By posting content, you grant Lead Blueprint a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our content policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lead Blueprint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any disputes between clients and contractors, the quality of work performed, property damage, personal injury, or financial losses arising from connections made through the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

9. Public Permit Data

Permit leads on the Platform are compiled from open data published by the municipalities we cover, each under its own open data licence. Every municipality is credited, with a link to its licence, on each page that shows its data, in our FAQ, and below. Lead Blueprint is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these municipalities.

The municipalities provide this data "as is", and Lead Blueprint passes it on the same way. Neither Lead Blueprint nor any municipality guarantees that permit records are accurate, complete or current, and neither is liable for errors or omissions in them or for any decision made in reliance on them. Confirm the details with the issuing municipality before relying on them.

A permit lead is a public record, not a request for service: nobody listed has asked to be contacted, and permit leads are never exclusive. If you contact anyone about a permit, you are responsible for doing so lawfully, including under Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) for any email or text message. Street addresses are shown only to signed-in contractors who accept the permit terms, and may be used only to pursue that work — not republished, sold, or collected in bulk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
